my maytag dryer mod# MEDT236AYW runs for a little while then it stops and when i go to restart it after a day all it does is hum i think it might be the timer but i don't know please help me thank you
This sounds like the classic symptoms of a bad motor. It will run for a while and then it heats up and shuts down. After waiting for a period of time, it will restart again.
