Cannon 215 close front door?

My 215 keeps saying close front door PLEASE HELP

Canon Canon 215 Office Appliances, Photocopiers Close Front Door Help

This is now an old machine. First of all check the door switches for correct opperation but I would take a guess that this is not the problem. This machine can develope a problem with it's power supply and loose the 24v line which goes through the door switches which is why the main prossessor thinks the door is open. you will need a new power supply if you can get one.
