My Kenmore 60 series Heavy duty washer will not spin or agitate?

I found directions to replace the motor or drive coupling, and they were perfect. They're at http://repair2000.com/coupling.html. I had my brother come over to help me figure it out. But, I had done some Internet research first. He ended up following the directions exactly to take everything apart. We found the black sooty shavings talked about in the instructions, so I went ahead and ordered the motor coupling from Searspartsdirect.com. It came within a week, and I actually put the washer back together on my own this Friday night. Woo-hoo! It was only a $20 fix.

I am having the same prob i need an answer to i will let you know if i fined one i even toke it apart to see if i can fix it i have a book handy tips book and it said that it may be the drive belt needs tightend but i dont see a belt at all ??? sorry i cant help but good luck
