how to change glow plugs on ford escort diesel van?

Sorry I cannot answer your problem and I imagine after a year and half its not a problem anymore lol so I have a leak from a glow plug and having made sure it is tight after removing it I noticed there were traces of copper grease, did you find your answers? where please? I'd like to know if there was a washer of some kind.
any help would be grateful while I keep looking, Thanks.
