Well it could be alot of things but sounds like the lockup convertor solenoid is stuck and is staying in overdrive ...but usually happens after trans gets hot ............when you are driving and it comes to a stop its like you were driving a manual trans and didn`t push in the clutch coming to a stop
Can put it back in PArk and it cranks up fine till you put it in drive and it stalls
