What's happened to my dimmer?

Hi,

I have a dimmer switch in my lounge that controls 2 bulbs. One of the bulbs blew, which I have replaced. Now the dimmer mode doesn't work on that bulb. When I turn it on, It just goes on to full power & won't dim at all when I turn the light switch around. The other one works fine.

I would swap the two bulbs over and see if the same bulb dims n a diferent position...If so, then you have a problem with the bulb selection.
Choose a similar type bulb .
