Have fitted a 5 port 2.0 usb card in pc, followed all instructions when I powered on pc had long continuous bleeps. Powered off and removed card then restarted - NOTHING! unless you count the fan working HELP PLEASE urgent sons GSCE coursework on pc and not backed up
this is a toughy because i am unsure the type of motherboard you have also if it is new or old -
well when you inserted the USB card it may have caused a IRQ conflict - hence the continous beeps but if the machine does not work at all but the fans are whizzing etc check your graphics card and monitor connections it is more likley the confliction occurred with the graphics card. you must remember to ground yourself when working inside a PC static can cause loads of problems hope that helps
