well get some 70% ISOPROPYL ALCHOHOL then get a cutip and wet it with the alchohol then wetv the middle of mp3 player. After that wait about 6 minutes then stick your cd in then Yay!!! Thats how i fixed mine.

when formating my RCA Pearl I held the play button on while pluging it into the computer to get it to work. You need to take the battery out to reset itfirst.

k well try to search in the internet for people that can fix it. or try unscrewing it and try to see whats wrong with it. well mine is messed up because mine fell in water and it wont go down or up only the volume and left and right and menu works so im mad. but im trying my best to fix it and if i cant find no1 im gonna have to buy a better 1. try getting a job to buy a new 1 and just make a list of songs u had in it. well if u just wanna fix it, it just depends wat kind of mp3 player it is. i got a phillips but im mad about it.well good luck man hope these words help
