My Hotpoint 1st Edition 1000(wm52) fills & emptys but is not washing ?

My Hotpoint 1st Edition 1000(wm52) fills & emptys but is not washing ? or spinning, do I need to replace my carbon brushes and if so which ones do I order online and where can I order them from ??

i'm trying to buy bearings for the Hotpoint 1st Edition 1000(wm52) but every were i look the WM number always has a exta letter on the end e.g. S or A what are the right bearings ?

It is likely to be either the brushes, or the drive belt. The belts don't often break, but do sometimes come off.
If the belt has come off, check the centre drum bearing before putting it back on.
