Boiler is "on" but it doesnt start ignition.What to do?

I have a Worcester 24i RSF-L Combi boiler and my flat mate switch it off yesterday. When I switch in on today it is not working and there is no hot water and central heating not working either.
What can I do???

Please can you help me. I've got a Baxi Solo 2 80 PF and it sometimes works OK. When it doesn't work the "boiler on" light comes on and so does the fan light for about 1 second. The fan spins; I can hear it and see it through the rear vent. After 1 second (ish) the fan cycles on/off. However the pilot and hence main burner will not light. If I tap the bottom of the casing by what looks like the main control board it sometimes lights. Any thoughts on what this can be (could it be a poor solder joint on control board or sticking relay/contacts)?

It may have tripped. Have you tried pushing the reset button on the top of the boiler left hand side? This has worked for me in the past.

Hi Danny, the ignition on your boiler is automatic I would suggest you contact a regisered engieer and have the boiler checked over.
