how do i get into my Maytag LSE1000 Dryer ?

I need to change the belt in my dryer, and cannot find a way to get to the belt. i removed the screws from the back and tried to take the back off, however the back seems to be spot welded (from factory, not tinkered) the only way in seems to be from the front, but i cannot imagine that is the only way. .. seeing how you would have to remove all the wiring and drum and assembly just to change a belt . .. please help me . .. .
