Mend Singer 7444 Sewing Machine Bobbin Tension Thread

I have a Singer 7444 and it seems as though the bobbin tension is too tight?

My machine has an automatic bobbin tension setting, but I notice that it is usually too tight, regardless of my thread tension. I was wondering if there is anything I could do about this. Thanks in advance!

Hello Miss Potter,
Even with automatic thread tension there should be a small screw on the bobbin case that you can slacken off anti clockwise, I have not seen a machine with your model number yet but I am certain there must be adjustment.
