hiya it can be a number of things m8, ive got 3 speedfight and rebuilt every1 of them!!! so i no exactly what im talking about with these bikes as people tell u many different things! if its idleing ok but wont rev and you havnt changed anything id suggest your rollers are worn. other thing cud be a very very dirty air filter or spark plug, jus clean it with petrol and then squeze filter in newspaper to soak petrol out. if you stil have the problem its a fuel problem either ur lean or rich because of w.e reason. check everythings tight round the air filter, carb, reed blok etc. what size jet are you using btw and wot CC???

It sounds like you have a blockage in the carburettor jet(s) so I'd be taking the thing off for a thorough clean using carb cleaner (in aerosol) and compressed air to make a good job - and try again.
