Sounds like you need to re register some of the ie dll files, fortunately this can be done fairly easily. follow the instructions on this webpage:

this should fix the infamous script error.
another option is to turn off script debugging. Ok go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced Tab... look down the list and under BROWSING you will see the option to 'Disable Script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable Script debugging (Other) Uncheck both if they are already checked. Click Apply and then Ok Restart the system and try on the web page thats giving you the script error Icon.
