Sigh I have a similar problem. I bought my gilera coguar second hand less than a week ago, fully mot, but every time I ride it, it suddenly loses all power. I have been trying to identify what causes it. Usually I have been riding 10 mins at least before the problem occurs and I think maybe I am usually in 3rd gear. Sometimes, I can be riding straight at a constant speed and it loses all power. I am a first time rider so I am a bit lost, not to mention disappointed at the failure of my shiny new bike.
i have the same problem, changed both the coil and the plugs, also the gasket, still no improvement, i think its the exhaust, not losing the spent gas quixck enough as mine sometimes backfires and springs back into life

I'm having the same problem, my dad says its the ignition coil causing it, having trouble finding one though.
