Mend Fridgedaire Washing Drain Appliance

Why does my washing machine no longer fill with water?

Sometimes it fills about 1/4 to 1/2 then starts to drain. Other times it doesn't fill at all. It has worked for over 4 years until recently. Any ideas? It is a fridgedaire, about 10 years old.

sounds like it could be due to a pressure switch bottle bunged up
