Is is doing this during the drying or wasing cycle, as mine is doing it during drying... and I think mine must be the water pump , but it empties fine on a wash...

E20 Yes. I did all the above and it did not cure the problem. The fault was happening on my Zanussi Wasker/Tumble dryer Model 1257W. The water would pump out sometimes and not others. The problem turned out to be the thermal cut-out on the pump. This meant a whole new pump. This is an easy job to replace. However, tilt the machine back and replace from underneath. Lie the machine back at your peril. If you do you can get water in the control unit causing an E90 message!!!

I believe that E20 is missing water pressure, this could be due to filters stoped etc. Try running a cleaning programme with first dishwasher detergent, then citrus acid then water
