Mend Rover 75 Pump Replacing 20

Rover 75 washwater pump replacing, is there an easy way?

How do I access the washwater pump on my 2002 75 2.0 V6? The pump doesn't appear to work, either blocked or u/s. It looks as though the wheel and wing liner has to come off, that can't be right can it? Help!

wash pump is accessible from below by dropping the lower outboard cover of the undertray 3/4 screws unit clips in and out there may be two units if you have headlamp wash
