Heater fan speed switch on Fiat Punto 2002?

give it a good yank at the top. There are 4 sprung clips. It feels like it might break but it wont.

Once you have undone the 4 screws, you will need to disconnect the cigar lighter cable. The gear lever leaves little room for moving the panel out but with care it eventaully slides out towards the passenger footwell.

The 4 screws are all you need to undo. The top of the panel underneath the hazard light is held by 4 sprung clips. Just pull the panel from the side and they will come undone.

i have the same problem. got someone to help me take it off and basically it is all one piece, starting from under the hazard light switch all the way to behind the handbreak. i think we took off 6 screws in total. found all the fuses were ok, just need to find a replacement swtich - any ideas where to pick one up from?

Sorry I'vwe not got an answer John, as I have exactly the same question. My 2004 Punto switch is knackered and i need to get at it.

Like you i have removed two screws from under the ash tray and another two from the footwells, so the bottom of the facia is free. However something is holding it just under the hazard warning switch.

I've tried to remove the centre console around the gearstick/handbrake to see if I can lift the bottom out further bout can inly see the two screws under the gearstick gaiter.

I don't know whether to force it or not.

Did you have any success. Any info would be appreciated.
