How can I fix my JVC DR-M10 dvd player?

My dvd player continuously says 'loading' and wont move on can I fix it?

I have same problem with the same brand. My understanding is that the resistor was not built to last. Putting the gadget in save mode will burn the resistor and this is common with the one made and supplied in 2004. I have spend a fortune reparing mine twice it's outside the warranty period.
