Format hard drive?

format c: /q /u
and format c: /v
also if you wanto make sure no-one can access hidden data on the drive if you ms xp run setup delete all partitions to leave your drive in raw state no data survives this ;)

However you do know that this will delete everything that is on the disk including your Operating System? However it will not make your data unreadable by a determined person with the right tools.
