nothing showing apart from the wall paper pic?? Help???

Hi, some else posted the same question, but I have anti virus already installed. I can't right click or get anything.

I can do alt control delete to get into the task manager, but nothing else.

Anyone know how I can get into system restore because then I could try putting it back to a previous point.

BTW I have done a hard ware test & all seems well there.
