Mend Rover 216 Si Ideas Car Clutch

Any ideas on a rattling noise on the car when using the clutch?

Whenever I am parking, reversing using alot of clutch control I seem to be getting some sort of rattling noise which sounds as if it is coming from underneath.

Is my clutch in need of repair or is it something else. The car does otherwise drive ok

You will probably find out that its the thrust bearing starting to break as i had the same problem 6 mths ago, you'll find that it will just break at the most unopertune moment.
