the tool u are asking about to set timeing behind the alternator is erelivant because of drilled holes in the bottom end (4 engine balancing)called webbing. the tool locates all the holes. u must find TDC (top dead centre) on piston 1. then use the 6mm drill bit in the locater hole 4 the cam timing, then tention the belt. to find (TDC) u must remoe the head and observe. removing the head requires a new gasket
