fixing my 96 ford escort zetec?

sorry my spelling is as bad as this engen, ford zetec yuck! worst engen ever maid! but the fult is in the manyfold butterfly its sticking, theres an air velve in the manyfold as well that could be playing up, my zetec had the very same problem, take off the butter fly velve and very jently clean it out as theres a speshel coating inside there (to stop iceing) so go easy on it, use carb cleaner then wd40 that should do the job ok, get hold of the hazes book of fibs first to help you with this jod but its not very hard to do, this butter fly is right at the end of the rubber hose from the air cleaner dolted to the engen
dont skwert any thing into or blow across the air cencer or you could damage it, this should solve the sticking revs, fords wont clean this butter fly, they will only fit a new one at a cost of
£150.00app, thatw what they told me! i showed them im no twit!!! and cleaned it my self,
