It really depends on the extent of the damage and the type of worktop. If the scorch mark is purely cosmetic then you can probably get away with contacting one of the professional repair companies like Plastic Surgeon or Finishing Touches and they may be able to help.
If the worktop is of the laminate variety and the burn has caused the laminate to blister and seperate from the woodchip then I think your going to struggle to get a 100% perfect repair. The above companies may be able to improve the appearence but I doubt that it will be invisible.
If its a complete ring the shape of a pan then I think that you may be looking at a replacement or just a chopping board to hide the damage.
