Mend Dyson Broken Cable

How can I fix a broken cable on a Dyson upright?

The mains cable has broken just where it enters the vacuum. How do I access it so that I can remake the connections?

Hi, go to www.sparesaver.com and look at their 'Help & Support' section. They have superb full instructions including colour photographs of troubleshooting Dyson problems.

Look where the cable enters the machine - you can see where the plastic moulding covers the switch area. There is usually one (torx) screw holding this cover in place. Undo it, take the plastic bit off and the connections will be seen.
