do nov 99 transits have glow plugs?

My van was the same as soon it got cold, it turned out to be be the starter motor. Although it seemed ok and battery was in good condition, it was just a bit lazy and not turning quick enough. Replaced the starter and now it starts as it did in summer

It doesn't have any, if the van is strugling to start I would need to ask when was the last time you serviced it? When the oil gets old and thick it makles it very hard to start.
