could anyone tell me what is a drum unit?

I would like to know, what is adrum unit? where it is usually located in the photocopy canono cp 660

Canon Canon CP660 Office Appliances, Photocopiers Anyone Tell Me Unit

The drum unit is the main photosensitive unit that produces the copy / print. it is in the main printer unit and you should be able to easily pull out. I take it a message has come up asking you to change this unit. You will need to purchase a new unit and replace it. These units have a life and when it has done the target number of prints it will need to be replaced. Sorry but not cheap!!
