how can i fix my kenwood dishwasher kdw12st3a which won;t go into cycle?

when I push the on button - the cycle button flashes and then goes off - any ideas?? the repair man says it isn;t an electrical fault!?

AT LAST I BEAT THEM I DIDNT NEED TO CALL OUT THE REPAIR MAN HAHAHAH

We have the same dishwasher and the same fault. Our engineer (supplied by kenwood through ringing curry's product support) came out and had it fixed in 5 mins. It is the switch inside the door closing mechanism (you may notice that the door isn't clicking closed) Our switch had moved out of place. He took the door cover off, moved it back into place, and this now allows you to choose your cycle, the door clicks closed and the machine starts. This was about 6 weeks ago and our dishwasher has again developed the same fault. I will be looking for a refund / replacement but different product now.
