Mend Candy CDC266 Checked Good Clean

Filter Care Light Candy CDC266?

The filter care light on my Candy CDC266 wont go out, i have checked all the filters and given everything a good clean, after doing this the light went out but then came straight back on again and wont dry anything. Does anyone have the answer to my problem??

Let me know if the thermostat is the problem as I have a candy CDC266 and have experienced the same problem. put wet clothes in and off it goes but stops tumbling after about a min. motor still running in the background (I think still blowing hot air) but not tumbling and drying, I have checked tthe filter and the condenser both OK, so it has me puzzled.

Since i asked this question we have had an engineer out and they are going to replace the thermostat, lets hope it does the trick.
