Mend Ford Mondeo Starter Motor Problem

I have a problem with my starter motor on my ford mondeo 54 plate, i would like to know if this is a common fault on the modeo as i have heard from friends who have mondeos that have had the same problem especially after 70 miles, i also hear that soon after the starter motor the clutch needs to be changed i need to know if this true. thank you

Hi Brett, I have the same problem with my Mondeo and have been told the same thing that if the starter motor needs replaced then the clutch will also have to be done. Did this turn out to be the case for you?
