HOW CAN I FIX MY NEW TEAM VARISPEED SI PUMP PUMP?

I HAVE A NEW TEAM VARI SPEED SI PUMP FITTED AND IT NOW CARRIES ON RUNNING WHEN THE TAP IS CLOSED. ITS ABOUT 9 MONTHS OLD AND HAS NOT HAD HEAVY USE. IT IS CONNECTED TO THE COLD WATER PIPE.
