i changed the fan on my ff240 ideal classic and when i test it with the casing removed the main burner stays lit but as soon as i put on the casing the main burner goes out but keeps trying to light sometimes it lights but goes out immediately. has anyone got any idea as to the probable cause. I put everything back the same way that i removed it

no its not blocked if i leave the casing off it works fine but as soon as i put the casing back on it fires up but then goes out immediately as if the flame is blowing out or the gas cutting off with the casing off warm air blows out off the flue as it should
