how can I put out the service warning light on my Ford Mondeo ghia 1996?
I have had my Mondeo ghia Auto 1996 serviced by a local small garage but the service warning light is still on, is there a way I can put it off myself?
Hold down the "Select" and "Units" buttons for 5-seconds on the trip computer. This worked on my Cougar and it is the same car really.

I've got a later model (98 Ghia X), and there is a small hole at the bottom of the warning panel, insert a paper clip & hold for 6 seconds.

there is a swich in the glove compartment it as got a picture of a spanner on it press and hold it for 30 sec and the lite will go out as iv got a 1996 mondeo 2.5 gear x.

You can try this .switch ignition on press both the brake &
accelerator pedals at the same time for about 15 seconds .
the light should start flashing .
turn ignition off ,then on again . the light should now be off

yes, burn it out with a blowtorch, shoot it or put a hammer through it.
