My mitsubishi tv won't turn on?

I have a big screen mitsubishi tv. It will not turn on. The green light just blinks but will not turn on.

It is a WS-55513 or HDTV 1080 on the Tv. The green light flashes constant not in any code

The flashing light is the clue ! If i flashes in a sequence then it shows an error code ie 5 blinks = a particular fault.
Mitsubishi tvs are renowned for bad solder connections and dryed up electrolytic capacitors in the power supply.
hope this helps. Let me know the model number maybe able to shed further light.
