craftsman circular saw blade spins when load put on?

Put on a new blade and now when load put on it spins. Also tried to remove blade and whole shaft spins when I lock the blade with a piece of wood. Any suggestions?

Use needle nose vicegrips on collar and remove blade bolt. new blade is too thin for collars to grip. If you cannot hold the collar, the only other option is to bind the armature, very carefully or you will ruin the saw
