I've just been given a Mountfield 25 with a 8hp briggs and stratton engine. I would love for someone to help me with the wiring. maybe explain what wire should go where. I know this sounds a bit vague.
Is there such a thing as a wiring loom scheamatic that exists.
The other wire is the AC output from the alternator which can be used to power a light. Some models have a light mounted in the steering column.

I have a Mountfield 25 ride on 7 hp. My wires, except one, are in place and I may therefore be able to help. Do you need a whole diagram?
My one wire, which I suspect is missing, goes from a junction beside the fuel tank. The junction has 2 wires coming to it from the generator, one of the wires then goes to the battery but where should the other go to?
