aeg lavamat 72620?

I have error code C9 motor issue displayed on the LED front screen. I can reset this ok using the sequence of pressing the buttons, but, after 5 minutes, the error reappears. I have replaced the motor and also brushes, but exactly the same issue appears. The motor spins for 2 seconds and then gently comes to a rest. I'm now suspecting a fault with the electronics PCB located at bottom RHS of rear belt assembly since the PCB has a motor controller relay and suspect that this may be where the fault lies. Perhaps the relay is not energizing for long enough due to a faulty capacitor in the circuit. Any ideas most welcome. Thanks
