is it safe to eat from repaired stoneware?

is it safe to eat and wash repaired (chipped) stoneware (dinner plates, etc)? Pfaltzgraff Yorktown pattern

It is not considered "sanitary" to use any type of porcelain or ceramic dinnerware that has a crack or chip in it as bacteria can grow in the defect and potentially cause you harm if you ingest it. If the surface has been fully restored and there is no fault line for food to be trapped in, then you should be OK. However, we live in a world just teaming with bacteria and we live with it every day. Slight exposures to bacteria are actually what keeps us healthy by stimulating our immune systems. If you clean your dinnerware very well after every use you should be fine.
Good luck. I hope this helped.
