Disc stuck in Panasonic dmr-e50?

Panasonic give this information regarding your problem:-

If pressing EJECT to power up does not work, when unit is in standby, simultaneously press STOP and Ch Up for 5 seconds. Drawer should now eject.

A faulty disc, drive or digital process PCB can cause the disc to get stuck with RECOVERY showing in the display

If the display shows RECOVERY, then place the unit into standby by pressing the POWER button FOR 10 SECS and then use the above method.

If RECOVERY continues to show then there is a problem with the unit and you should contact your dealer or Panasonic customer service.
