how to fix air brake system on mercedes 814?

the handbrake on my mercedes 814 truck will not release. it ocassionally does come off but when handbrake reapplied it sticks again. this has only started since the very cold weather. air pressure is building up ok

water in the chambers happens a lot on these, some time the water freezes and the brakes dont come off, is the lorry a 814d or 814 as there is a huge difference?

the compressor dose not seem to be buildin up presure one tank on the back builds up a bit of presure but not the other one

Most likley going to be a rear brake chamber. These are not good at the best of times. Block the wheels and release the brake and see of both side arms from the chamber have gone back to the release position. Couls also be a caliper as these are not brilliant either.
Some of these had an electric compressor just for the handbrake, These have complicated wiring and were troublesome. Does the handbrake warning light go out?
