Drum removal off a Belle 140 series maxi cement mixer?

Is there anyone familiar with removing a cement mixer drum from a Belle 140 series maxi? The Drive gear assembly has gone. I believe I will need to remove the drum in order to gain access to the assembly. So far, I have managed to remove rear bearing housing, removed the bearing. There remains a gear wheel secured to the shaft of the drum. Does this gear need to be pressed off the shaft in order to free the drum?
I think once the drum is removed I should be able to access the driving mechanism from the motor to the drum housing. Thank you.

MINI BELLE 140 MD01 2013 there is a clip behind the drum which needs removing first then the drum just pulls off.

I had a hell of a job getting the drum off. Finally did it with judicial use of a sledge hammer and the mixer drum on the earth.
The official way is to use a ratchet strap and metal bar. Interesting idea with the g clamps mentioned here. I just couldn't get the enertia needed.

If the gearbox is worn out and you can't unscrew the drum, remove the motor, take the gearbox mounting bolts off, take the back off the gearbox and use a stilston or similar on the stub of the gearbox shaft. might need to use a scaff bar or similar over the stillies.

hi a was wondering how 2 take the drum of my 2004. 150 xt belle mixer because the gear r damage. and im nat 2 sure how they come off?? thanks

Attach three 10"- 12" G clamps to the edge of the drum approximately 120 degrees apart. Place the mixer with the drum face down into soft earth so that the clamps dig in. Grab the frame and swing it anti clockwise until the drum loosens. Turn the mixer so that the drum now faces upwards. Turn the drum until it comes off the the threaded bit of the shaft. The drum can now be lifted off the shaft. Be aware the drum is very heavy you might need two persons.

Hi, have the same problem, gear wheel inside box has stripped and therefore cannot get the drun off because it just turns both ways, this is what I did !
removed motor from back and then once I removed some metal frame from the cart with an angel grinder got to the bolts that secure the gearbox to the housing, once this is done got inside and saw knackered cog, cut slice out of it with grinder so I could then use hammer and bolster on cog, anticlockwise, job done, good luck !

just turn the drum anti clockwise, it will come off.

You remove the drum by unscrewing it counter clockwise in the vertically up position.
WARNING IT TAKE TWO PEOPLE TO LIFT IT OFF THE SPINDLE.
Replacement is the reverse just remember to grease the shaft before putting the drum back on.
