How can I fix a Motorola I776 phone that was washed with clothes?

My son's cellphone was washed in his hoodie yesterday. Can it be fixed? I believe it has completely dried out. I took out the battery and the sim card yesterday.

Keep the battery out of the phone until it is dry.
Power on after that and it may work. It all depends on if the board was shorted out by the water. If it was Motorola will not honor the warranty on the phone. Your best bet is to purchase another one and use the same sim card unless that was damaged as well.
