brew unit of miele built-in coffee machine is stuck in?

Just tried this and it worked like a charm on the first attempt! We have a Miele CVA 610, with over 15,300 cups since 2003. We are about to buy a new model for another part of our house and thought we might now need 2. Thanks Donna!!!!

They claim our brew unit parts teeth are worned.Use the machine for a total of 2 years worth wants $700.00 to repair. I don't know beside don't live in this house all the time

I had the same problem and after trying the above listed sequence I tried pressing random buttons together and got lucky it reset and began working. What a relief , was about to go into caffine withdrawal

Hell'o,

My Miele thingy stopped working all of a sudden and it says there is a fault, it reads: "fault - f76", does anyone knows what the problem is? thanks!!

I have a Miele CVA 610 & have had this problem a few times.
Press & hold down Hot Water button & small coffee buttons & turn ON WITH LIGHT. Release buttons.
Press & hold Large coffee button and hold until you see two '1's on the left side of the screen. Release.
Press & hold medium coffee button until you see two '2's.
Release.
Hit & release quickly Large coffee button.
Brew unit should be reset.
