Hi there I've got a hygena electric oven and it won't heat up it something to do with the mode being on auto how do we switch to manual

On my oven this is what I do...

Cycle the main power off and on again so that the clock flashes
Depress and hold in buttons 2&3 from the left
Use the plus and minus buttons to set the time
Any time will do - the cooker knows no better
Go-bake...
