how do i get sound on my pc without getting a sound card can u download so?

Hi - Im afraid the short answer to that is 'you cant' - unless your pc motherboard has onboard sound and has not been used/enabled. Look on the back - if there are 3 small jack sockets in a row ( if you look closely they should have little microphone, headphone pics engraved by the side) - then you should have onboard sound, - you will then need headphones or a pair of pc speakers or a connection to your hifi, - if its enabled then you should see a little loudspeaker icon at the bottom right of your screen, - if youve got the sockets and speaker is not there, it needs enabling in the bios, - if this means nothing to you you will have to get someone to do it for you. No sockets means no sound, so Im afraid its buy a soundcard time, - you can pick up a reasonable one these days for £5 - £6, - you will then need an amp &speakers or headphones
