Mend Vue 6001 Top Stopped Working

How can I reset or fix my Vue 6001 DVD set top box?

It just stopped working. A little blue light flashes when the power is turned on but nothing else. It has a DVD in it that I really want to watch. Is there some kind of reset?

The capacitor/s on main power board are the most likely culprits eg 22uF/400V and 1000uF/16vdc.Look for leakage and swelling.Take care ...High voltage!

I had the same problem and took the cover off resat the power fuse and good cleanout of the dust and all was good again
