just had same problam let engine cool down took water cap off gave the water hose a few pumps toped up with water and shes been fine heater blows hot air again too a thought it was something massive but easy to fix hope this helps its a air block david

maybe low oil levels or wrong oil, or perhaps someone attached a heater to the bottom of the engine so you cant see it.
