1988 xr3i gearbox how to?

i have bought an escort geabox but thedrive shaft ends are different how do I swap the drive cups from the old one to the new one?????????????

Pull the rubber boot back and wipe some of the grease away from the shaft. You should see a circlip holding the complete joint in place. Release the clip and slide the whole joint off.
